Common name for a frequently reported side effect of early immortality treatments, in particular Serum 47 (engineered by Calabrese Genetic Laboratories in 2032) and Neraphrebax. In as many as 11% of cases, the subject suffered severe nervous degeneration, visual impairment and, generally within 24 to 36 months, progeria. In every recorded instance the patient was permanently disabled within five years; death normally followed in under a year.

Celebrity media commentator and Acceleration sufferer Genevieve Queen, whose record of her battle with the condition which ultimately took her life was depicted in the award-winning docudrama "An Unnatural Ending", is credited with naming the condition. Her mother Gloria was a co-founder of the Natural Dignity Protest Movement after Genevieve's death in 2038.
